Surgical dermatology primarily pertains to diagnosis and management of skin cancers.

Procedures performed by Dr Gupta include:

  • Biopsies of skin lesions or rashes

  • Shave excisions

  • Curettage and cautery

  • Excision of skin cancers

  • Excision of benign (harmless) lesions such as cysts and lipomas

In some cases, minor procedures such as biopsies may be possible on the day of your consultation. Surgical procedures are performed in procedural rooms on site under local anaesthetic.
